Flame y Citron fueron dos de los más famosos miembros de la resistencia danesa durante la ocupación nazi. Esta película recrea la vida de estos hombres, que decidieron luchar desde la clandestinidad contra los alemanes y contra los daneses que colaboraban con ellos. Las cosas comenzaron a ser diferentes cuando empezaron a plantearse si matar o no a las personas que se les había ordenado, al vislumbrar que sus acciones se enmarcaban en una trama más compleja, que en ocasiones era opuesta a sus desire to end the Nazi enemy.

With some players developed in a distant reality to the viewer and with a pace so slow, it can be difficult to fully appreciate the dramatic content of the story: the hardness of betrayal, impotence of knowing a pawn in the hands of another, the inability to fight the great international war machine. This passes through the retina of the viewer almost without emotion.
