Germany in 1943. The deportation of Jews from Berlin to Auschwitz and other death camps has been resolved. The city must be "Judenfrei." After the deportation of 70,000 Jews, a transport 688 people from the Grunewald station bound for Auschwitz. Among them is the family of Henry Neumann, a professional boxer, a young couple who had been hiding but was found, a doctor, a former actor and his wife cabaret pianist and many more.
Guarded by a sadistic SS officer and finally German and Ukrainian troops, locked in a cattle car, the trip would last six days, without food and water and death or suicide of deportation.
